2023 SUMMER WRITING GOALS INTENSIVE:

 

After a very busy Spring season (two world premieres: Sancocho, & The Diamond), I have decided to take time this summer to help people meet their creative writing goals. I cannot count the many times I have been asked: How do you do it? How do you get so much writing done? What do you do to stay focused?  

 

Those answers are layered, of course. Each writer has their process. However, there are key things to do to ALWAYS meet your writing goals- and that's what I will share with you! Don't let the word intensive fool you... this course is not intended to keep you writing all hours of the day and night. But rather, as a short process where you will generate new writing material at your own pace.

Any creative writing mediums (plays, films, poetry, etc.) are welcome. ALL writers with ALL experiences are welcome. YES, beginners too! In this intensive, I will help you intentionally set and meet realistic writing goals. You can expect to:

 

1. Understand how/why creative goal setting works

2. Experiment with various writing exercises

3. Read inspirational excerpts and learn techniques that engage the writing process

4. Have a one-hour private meeting with me where we can discuss anything you want about your writing and/or goals

Meetings will be on four MONDAYS from 7pm-9pm ET:
